 The landmark is the Powder Tower, a prominent Gothic monument in Prague, Czech Republic.Completed in 1475, it originally served as one of the thirteen city gates separating Old Town from New Town.It was later named for its use as a gunpowder store in the 17th century.The tower was a ceremonial starting point for coronation processions of kings heading to Prague Castle. |
