All tests below were conducted before the weekly 50% water change. Water change is always 50% unless otherwise indicated.

test, March 8, 2003: Approximately 10-15ppm Nitrate. Therefore, no
added K2NO3 after 50% water change on March 8. (Nitrate is the higher
scale.)

test, March 15, 2003: Approximately 10-15ppm Nitrate. Added only
Potassium, no K2NO3. (Nitrate is the higher scale.)

4 ml of K2NO3 solution to raise Nitrates by 1ppm.

And guess what, I have an algae problem. Hence I needed to check levels.
My estimate is that nitrate is down below 1 ppm. BUMMER! I am going
to add nitrate to the water this week.
